Pain

Pain

A lot of people in times of corona are going through very difficult times. Many are suffering. Things are bad for many.
They say pain is inevitable suffering is optional. I keep on thinking the amount of pain that we go through in our life varies from one individual to another. Some face more trauma than the rest and some lucky few face very little pain. For long I thought No one can actually control the pain they endure during their life. That may be partially true. We cannot control the external factors in our lives. But then I thought is suffering not controllable?

Shouldn’t we actually be able to manage this aspect?

I divided pain into two sorts. One is physical pain and other mental pain. Physical pain is due to disease, sickness, injuries, accidents, etc. mostly all of it is difficult to be controlled by us. Yet many lifestyle-related disorders are still very much manageable if we adopt good practices and habits if we modify our lifestyle. These things have known cures and remedies. I thought this pain is bad but yet it can be dealt with more easily and is the lesser of the two evils. But on the other hand, the worst is the mental pain we let inflict upon ourselves and the suffering that we undergo due to this.
A lot of people silently keep on amassing in their hearts and minds hurts and pains they experience each day.

When you become extremely sensitive and touchy to the world and its opinions and judgments of you and you allow it to ruin your mind space you will continue to be tormented by such aches and pain. The choice to avoid this is entirely in your hands. This pain is the most debilitating one of all. Do not be harassed, humiliated, insulted, and tortured by anyone in your life. Whether at work or family. Close your mind to the negative outside you. Open your hearts and minds only for happiness and positivity. Mental pain makes you far more incapacitated than physical injury. It takes away your ability to think or perform or stay calm and happy.

Negative people are the ones who not only undergo this pain themselves but also keep on passing it on to everyone they come in contact with. It’s the most infectious of all ailments. Best option to avoid all such things which trouble you. To pray, to meditate and try your best to not make mental pain a daily routine

Don’t make pain a part of your life. Neither mental nor physical.

Stay Home. Stay Safe.
