Be The Dynamic You !!

Writing an essay on the importance of technology was regarded as one of the most important topics that could come up in the examination. Even today, if one has to answer about it, we can list the points in tens or twenties. But does the theoretical knowledge help us anymore? There is a vast difference between knowing what you think is true and applying it practically.

In this world of chaos and hyper tension, though one has an access to use mobiles, laptops every millisecond, still the learning that we derive from it is scarce. An IT guy, who is presumed to be the most ‘Tech Savvy’ individual, too has his life revolved around the programmes that will aid him in fetching a handsome salary only. I agree that social media websites have brought the world closer. I cannot imagine one’s life without WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or any other website with a fancy name which has a minor difference from the others. But what are we actually gaining from it? Is forwarding a ‘Good morning everyone’ daily message making us technologically upgraded? Is posting a hundred photographs with the same pout face and a victory hand sign making us learn about the new challenges in technology? The answer to this question is pretty clear to everyone.

Suppose you grant an access to your three year old kid to watch poems and songs on your phone daily. On the initial day, you will have to show your child how he can see and listen to the poems. But gradually, when he will love seeing it, he will not just be watching the same video over and over again. You will be shocked to see that the child himself has learnt to pause, forward, rewind, see other videos from the suggestions and even type what he wishes to see in the search option. And when you learn about it, you surely flaunt about the same to your friends and relatives. Let’s examine this situation critically.

Does the child limit himself to watch one video all through his life? No. He experiments by investing his time to the things that can fetch him to learn more. He learns new stuff every single day for his betterment. He does not confine himself to his learning  from the first day.

The more you learn, the less distant you get from your goal…

If an untutored and untrained toddler does not cringe from increasing the base of his knowledge, why are we, the adults, who can type what we want to know and understand its meaning do it? Why are we contented to drink just a glass of knowledge from the ocean of technology we can learn from? Why are we not challenging ourselves to learn something new every day? You surely do take a pride when your mother who has learnt to hold a mouse from you starts to tag people and upload photos on Facebook without your help anymore, but where is YOUR self learning? Is your knowledge still where you were three months ago? We are not robots to give the same output of the same inputs after the same processing. We have an ability to work in a profound manner by applying better decisions using our sound mind.

Everyone must be keeping a tracker of the clients in one’s company. This is done for the growth of the company. You must have heard that Charity begins at home. Start preparing a tracker for yourself. Update it with any technological thing you learn. Be it as small as learning to use ‘Ctrl + B’ for making the content bold or as big as starting to learn ‘C++’. Update it regularly and review it every fortnight. Trust me, you will be amazed to see your rise and will want to learn more everyday.

In this fast paced world, no one can function successfully without being dynamic and accepting the changes rapidly. Even a world leader, can fall down if it refuses to amend itself to the dynamics of market environment. I agree that an experienced person is judged on the basis of years he has spent in an organisation, but he is given more raise and a better position on what all he has learnt during his tenure.

The ladder of success has several steps. You will be closer to your destiny when you will step on more pedestals by learning something new often. So, invest in yourself a bit more to see a better you in the near future.
