I and my little one while on a holiday in Goa are sitting on the beach. He is not ready to enter the water till I tell him how deep it is. He insists On an answer I stare at the ocean and think about it .
While sitting on a beach and looking at the ocean one can never imagine the depth of it.No one can realize how deep those murky waters go until you enter the water. And then there is no stopping as the waves engulf you from all sides and pull you deeper and Deeper till you get enveloped by water and are lost forever. The sea of knowledge is same. You do not know how deep it runs till you take the first step and enter and then let the waves of learning take you deeper till you are completely immersed in them.
Most often we all think we know it all. Very few have the desire to read and learn once we complete a basic education. We feel we have accomplished our study goals for this life. There is a very strong ego which operates inside us which prevents us from learning from our surroundings and our peers. Because the ego believes that we are supreme beings who have been bestowed by ultimate knowledge and it can’t be enhanced by the weeklings we are surrounded by. We perceive other people as unintelligent and believe they are incapable of any value addition to our already super brains. Everyone looks down upon everyone else. And gloat in their own ego and pride.
The teacher teaches but it’s up to the student to learn. We can gain a lot if we open ourselves to it. Because thou shall find when you seek.
Knowledge is the most unlimited thing that exists on this planet . It’s abundance cant be imagined in any possible way. The universe evolves each second and their is so much to learn and know that one lifetime is never ever going to be sufficient. Yet we want to learn nothing from those who surround us because we believe we are already learned and right. we live in a closed shell unreceptive to the vast expanses of learnings
Today It’s been one year since I started writing this blog. Innumerable people have given me a lot of encouragement that continues to motivate me to write my stories for my appreciative audience and I am thankful to those who read these articles and send me feedback .I try to learn more each day. From The people in my life ,my patients ,my staff, my little boy ,my parents ,my in laws, my siblings ,my friends and most importantly my husband who has been my guiding light for 17 years now. Do not hold ego in yourself to not learn from others. That’s how you grow. That’s how you can begin to learn and this ongoing process will continue all through life once you open the dams to your blocked minds. When for once you stop thinking you know it all and realize you can learn even from the most minuscule thing that is around you . There are several who have still not started reading my page and I have a hope and desire that they soon do. And are able to get at least. something useful out of these articles. Some value add to their lives.
Till then keep reading keep learning keep increasing your knowledge.
